Do you have a great faculty member who you would like to take to lunch so you can learn more about their profession, educational background or pick their brain for advice? Email your House Mentor a short statement (no more than a page, double-spaced) that addresses the following questions:
1. Name of faculty member.
2. How you met or heard of this individual?
3. Why you are interested in getting to know this faculty member better?
4. Three to five specific questions you wish to ask the faculty member such as how did you decided to pursue your current field? Where did you earn your degree or secure your training? What advise would you have for someone interested in your field?
5. List your name and the names of one to two friends you wish to take to lunch as well.
House Mentors will review the applications and contact you via email if you have been selected for the Faculty/Student lunch program. Residents selected will be able to take the faculty member and up to two friends out to lunch in Foggy Bottom for free! GW Housing will pick up your lunch tab!
